Why use Botanic RX
Since June 2025, cannabis flower in Thailand is supplied only with a prescription from a Thai-licensed practitioner, and Thai law does not recognise medical cards or prescriptions from other countries. Botanic RX gives you a Thai consultation without a trip to a clinic first.
No clinic visit first
Consult by video from your hotel, condo or our store. It runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to download, and you can add it to your home screen.
Thai-licensed doctors
Every prescription is issued by a Thai-licensed practitioner under the Ministry of Public Health rules for PT 33 prescriptions. The doctor makes the decision and may advise an in-person visit instead.
Made for visitors too
Foreign visitors register with a passport; Thai residents use their ID card. The service works in English and Thai, and you only send a photo of your ID once.
Private and secure
Your details are kept as a medical record under Thailand’s PDPA. Consultation video is encrypted, and only the doctor and staff involved can open your record.

Create your account
Sign up on botanic-rx.com with your email, or ask our team to register you in store. Have your passport or Thai ID card ready.
Answer a few health questions
Tell the doctor about allergies and any long-term conditions, and choose CannaBuri, Pattaya as your pickup shop.
Talk to a doctor by video
Call the first available doctor or one you choose. If the doctor decides it is appropriate, your PT 33 prescription appears in the app. Botanic RX says this usually takes 2 to 10 minutes.
Collect at CannaBuri
Show the QR code and your ID or passport at our counter, and sign when you collect. We scan the code to check it is valid and issued for our branch.

Do the consultation wherever you are staying, then come to the store with your prescription in the app. Your details are already in the system when you arrive.

Offer doctor-led consultations at your counter
CannaBuri is a Botanic RX partner shop. If you run a licensed controlled-herb shop or clinic, Botanic RX lets you register walk-in customers, connect them to a doctor on duty and check every prescription before you dispense, with the records kept for you.
How to join
- Apply on Botanic RX with your licence documents.
- Botanic RX reviews your application and approves it, or emails you the reason if not.
- You receive your counter account and your branch goes on the map.
- Register walk-ins, or receive prescriptions from online patients.
What you need
- A valid licence to sell controlled herbs.
- A computer or tablet with a camera, for scanning and video calls.
- Optional: an ID card reader for faster entry.
- Fees apply per walk-in telemedicine use and per PT 33. Ask Botanic RX for the current rates.

Do I need a Thai prescription?
Yes. Since June 2025, cannabis flower in Thailand is supplied only with a prescription or medical certificate from a Thai-licensed practitioner. Medical cards and prescriptions from other countries are not recognised.
Will the doctor always issue a prescription?
No. The doctor decides based on your symptoms and history, and may decline or advise you to see a doctor in person.
Can I do the consultation at CannaBuri?
Yes. Walk in during opening hours, 10 AM to 2 AM every day, and our team will register you and connect you to the doctor on duty. We can also arrange a prescription through a local doctor we work with.
I am a tourist. Can I use my passport?
Yes. Foreign visitors can register with a passport, and you need to be 20 or over.
Who keeps my health information?
Botanic RX keeps it as a medical record under Thailand’s PDPA; see the Botanic RX privacy notice. Our privacy policy explains what we share when we arrange a prescription for you.
Is this for emergencies?
No. Botanic RX is not an emergency service. For severe symptoms, call 1669 or go to the nearest hospital.
